Following our recent updates, taking into consideration the current COVID-19 situation and with consultation with our partners, we’ve made the decision to move Cospendium to July, 2022 to ensure that we have sufficiently recovered from Covid-19 to gather together en-mass without risk of infection. This also ensures that we can have the whole experience rather than a watered down version.

We are hoping that both William Shatner and Mel Gibson will be joining Cospendium on the new dates along with the other guests we were in negotiations with prior to Covid-19. 

We acknowledge the efforts of Governments, heroic health workers, emergency services, manufacturers and supermarket staff during this period. We also want to recognise and ‘big up’ the artists, creatives, and small businesses who have had to pivot and adapt in these unprecedented times. At Cospendium, we are no different and see this as an opportunity to grow.

Cospendium will emerge from this, the Royal Exhibition Building will become the capital for cosplay, gaming, community and families to unite!
